1. Resilience: Managing Transition
We hope your child has started adapting to a new semester and the school. As transition to a new environment or level may have its own challenges, you may want to be on the watch for signs of strain and stress. The following are some signs that may indicate your child needing some help:
a) repeatedly refusing to go to school
b) throwing tantrums whenever school is mentioned
c) recurring meltdowns when you try to bring them to school
d) suffering separation anxiety and needing you more than they have in recent months or years
e) changes in sleeping or eating habits
If you notice your child’s showing signs of concern with the transition, it’s important to talk to them about it. You can talk to the C4RE teachers in school who will be able to support further in making the transitions smooth. More information can be also found at https://www.schoolbag.sg/story/supporting-your-child-during-transitions
2. Sports Carnival 2019
As part of the school’s Physical Education programme, the school is
organising a Sports Carnival on 15 March 2019, Friday from 7.45 a.m. to 12.45

appreciate sports and display the values of Respect, Friendship and Excellence.
The Sports Carnival also helps pupils to demonstrate sports ethics, promote
socialisation and encourage a healthy lifestyle. The theme for this year’s

5. Residents’ Feedback
The school has received feedback of vehicles parked illegally at the service road of Block 180 – Block 182 during school dismissal hours. We seek parents’ co-operation to use designated parking facilities such as the Multi-Story Carpark at Block 180a when fetching your child during school dismissal hours. Alternatively, parents can make arrangements to drive into the school compound 15 minutes after school dismissal to pick your child as the vehicular flow in the school is generally lighter then. Your co-operation is much appreciated.
